Brave New World to Begin Art Classes!
Atom!
| Brave New World is proud to announce its first series of many classes designed to teach budding and established artists of all experience levels the joys of cartooning, illustration, animation, and comics art.
Long a hub of creativity in the Santa Clarita Valley, the staff of BNW have over the years put together several events highlighting the talents of its local artists. And at every event that they held from the annual 24 Hour Comic Book Day to the MiniMiniMini Show (highlighting the local self-publishers), to the regular meeting of the BNW Comics Collective (a group of talented folks who want to create their own comics), the staff was always overwhelmed not only by the talents of those that exhibited and participated, but by the enthusiasm of those that came to watch and wanted desperately to join. In response to that desire, the BNW University is born. Over the coming months and years, it is our goal to bring you classes for all age groups and experience levels in all aspects of cartooning, animation, comics art, writing and publishing. Our plans include offering:
To insure that we don’t grow too big too fast, we will be starting with a few 6 Week Basic Skills Courses, and then progressing as our teaching staff expands. Interested students and parents should feel free to contact Brave New World with any questions and add their name to our Interest List so that we can properly bring on teachers to fill demand.
